BEING AND BECOMING A LIVING EPISTLE

Friends, God has a purpose for your life. I am convinced that “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD” (Isaiah 54:17, NKJV). You have been given the charge to walk in the will and purpose of God for your lives.

Is your Christianity a private matter only—personally comforting but culturally irrelevant? Are you touching lives through your spheres of influence? As Christians, we are expected to be witnesses for Christ. And as followers and disciples of Jesus the Christ, we are challenged to be relevant, authentic and consistent in that witness. No matter what you are going through remember that you are Christ’s epistles, known and read by all men; as the Apostle Paul says “You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts” (2 Corinthians 3:2-3, NIV).

I encourage you to be ambassadors of Christ wherever you are. There are 7 billion people on this planet; someone is waiting to see Christ through your life.
