UPCOMING SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT AT THE 2011 ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE TRANSNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS

Thanks to the generous financial support and prayers of several ministry friends; I will be speaking on Wednesday morning to several institutional decision makers at the 2011 annual conference for the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). The conference will offer a wide range of sessions designed to provide practical help with the issues and decisions facing Christian higher education in the 21st century.

My topic is "Higher Education and Gospel Stewardship." I will be focusing on how Christians can remain faithful to the Gospel mandate by "offering quality education through transformational teaching and learning." This workshop will place an emphasis on critical thinking and the need to consider higher education within its larger social, historical, and intellectual contexts. Please pray that the Holy Spirit empower and use me through His transformational power to speak to these world changers, history makers, and dream shapers!

The TRACS conference will be hosting administrators from over 100 colleges, universities, and seminaries from across the United States and the world. This year's meeting is being held from November 9-11 in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee. I am looking forward to the opportunity to network in a relaxed and personal environment while participating in hands-on, intensive workshops for business, student service, and academic officers, as well as college presidents and board members.
